She received her master’s degree in violin performance from Boston University and is passionate about sharing music with others, as well as giving back to the community. She has performed as part of the Alma String Quartet, Barron String Quartet, and was a winner of the Orfeo International Solo Competition in Vipiteno, Italy.
Having eight years of teaching experience, Rebeca loves working with students of all ages. She has taught with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra and St. Thomas More School in Sanford, FL. Rebeca moved to Kansas City this past year and has been teaching violin to underprivileged students through Harmony Project KC. She also has enjoyed teaching violin classes to middle school and high school students at St. Mary’s Academy in St. Marys Kansas, helping to launch the school’s first ever string program. She is excited at the opportunity to reach more students through Mobile Music!
