Michael

Multi-Instrumentalist Michael Martin is thrilled to be going into his 4th year with Mobile Music Teachers, training students in piano, guitar, composition, and improvisation. Michael holds a Bachelor of Music Education for K-12 instrumental music, and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz/Commercial Music Studies from the University of Central Missouri. Michael has taught all ages, from Kindergartners to Upper-Classmen. Michael spent two years as a full time instructor for Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO, before returning to his hometown of Kansas City. As a performer, Michael has performed across numerous venues in Kansas City, and in many styles including Classical, Jazz, Motown, Country, Alternative Rock, and Electronic Dance Music. As a composer, he has had numerous honors including a 2011 compositional debut at Carnegie Hall. Currently, Michael spends his time teaching young learners privately, and continues to perform and compose music.
